My Freelance Writing Service, Heathermoors Books & Words

Are you good with public speaking or telling people about your brand, yet don’t know what to say on paper or the computer screen? Do you have a novel inside you, but not the training and experience to shape it into a first draft? As a writer, I can help you reach your goals.

I run a freelance writing business, Heathermoors Books & Words. I write and edit digital and print articles, press releases, business advertorials, and blog posts and do some copywriting. I also ghostwrite. That means I can help you flesh out your ideas and outlines into a coherent manuscript. Non-fiction writing topics include lifestyle, beauty, entertainment and current events. Fiction includes short stories and novels.

Back in 2012, I launched Heathermoors with the original intent to publish only books under this name. However, I have decided to render my freelance writing services under this name as well. I have won two New Jersey Press Association Awards during my five-plus year career writing for New Jersey newspapers. I carry a B.A. in Communication from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

My writing styles include:

  • Press releases
  • Blogs
  • Web content
  • Social media content
  • Article writing (news and feature, digital and print)
  • E-mails
  • Ghostwriting

I also edit articles and manuscripts.

Feel free to contact me for my credentials and writing samples. If you have any projects for me to consider, email me at We can communicate over price during that time. Thank you.
